Bogie

My name is Bogie Rodriguez, I am a master barber with over 18 years of experience. I am an Arizona native, and attended Glendale High School, and Phoenix college. After PC, I decided to focus strictly on Barbering full time. I worked for a few shops before I decided to open my Business. Bogies Barbershop was established in 2009 and has been up and running ever since. I take my craft very seriously, and want to give every customer the best service, and barber shop experience possible.

I have over 8 years of experience in providing barbering services (all at Bogies Barbershop) including tapers, skin fades, kids haircuts, gentlemen's cuts and also providing basic women cuts. I started off after high school in the construction field still uncertain on what I truly had a passion for. Unfortunately, later I was in a terrible accident on the job site which forced me to cut that career path short. I later enrolled myself into University Barber College in Phoenix Arizona. That single moment I picked up a pair of clippers I knew I was never going to look back. 9 years later I work with my same family that I started off my career with. When you come to the barbershop, I truly believe there's more to the experience then just receiving a haircut. I live by the quote "if you look good, you feel good". That's why I take exceptional pride in every one of my clients haircuts so when they leave out my chair it's not just with a great haircut but it's also with an even better smile on their face.

Before bringing my skills to Bogies Barber Shop, I was working as a mail room manager at Cigna Healthcare. While in barber school I would go to the shop every day to learn what I could from the pros, and once I realized that there was nowhere else I would want to work other than this shop. To me it’s not just work, it's making life long connections that no other profession can offer. The connections I have made have turned into friendships and eventually a job that allows me to express my love for the Art of Barbering. As a kid and as an adult, I have a great love of comic books, movies, and the Raiders. To me life is an experience made to be seen by all and if I can make somebody’s day brighter and more meaningful in the short time I have with them then there is nothing else more important to me because at the end of the day when all the hair is swept up and the clippers are off, I want everyone to know that I did all I could for all the people I look forward to see every day.

My name is EL. I have been a professional barber for 15 years coming out of San Diego, CA. I come correct with crispy lineups and smooth blends. I enjoy taking my time on a haircut to get it perfect to the highest standards. I never rush anyone and I enjoy getting to know my clients personally. Because everyone that sits in at Bogies is family.
